Anne Easton is a Los Angles and Paris -based attorney with extensive experience in film and television development, production, and distribution, financing, and intellectual property, alongside outside general counsel work for emerging companies from formation through later-stage funding.

Anne B. Easton is Of Counsel at Entertainment Law Partners, where she advises clients across film and television development, production, distribution, financing, and intellectual property, as well as serving as outside general counsel to emerging companies from formation through growth-stage funding. 

Based in Los Angeles and Paris, Anne brings a transatlantic perspective shaped by her work with studios, networks, production companies, and creators across scripted and unscripted content for major platforms including Amazon, Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu. She began her career in business and legal affairs for independent film and later practiced at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, where she worked in both M&A and the Entertainment, Technology, and Advertising group. During that time, she was seconded to Amazon Studios and TelevisaUnivision, and contributed to the review of Amazon’s acquisition of MGM. 

In 2025, Anne founded Blakemore Law, a boutique entertainment and corporate practice, and joined Entertainment Law Partners, PC as Of Counsel in 2026, bringing a transatlantic perspective to Entertainment Law Partners’ clients and matters. She is also the co-host of “My Lawyer Friend Podcast”, a podcast translating entertainment and business law for creators and founders.

Outside her practice, Anne is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction, a yoga instructor and devoted practitioner, and dog mom.
